    AI-assisted analysis

Can AI help us understand our manufacturing records without taking over the decision?

Give your team a way to ask questions about available production evidence, review explanations and draft useful next steps while keeping process authority with people.

    Start with your records

Focus the conversation on accessible manufacturing evidence.

    Separate fact from suggestion

Inspect the source before accepting an explanation.

    Control the connection

Configure provider routing and permitted outbound context.

An explanation is useful only when you can check what supports it.

Manufacturing questions often involve several reports and competing explanations. IntelliTrack™ combines deterministic Insights with optional provider-based Assist, allowing teams to investigate recorded patterns and ask for help interpreting evidence without granting AI authority over production.

    How it works in IntelliTrack™

Choose a question you can verify.

    1. Establish the report context

Open the relevant report or supported investigation workflow and confirm its scope, parameters and available evidence.

    2. Use the appropriate assistance

Use deterministic Insights for supported findings and comparisons. Use configured Assist for report questions, explanations or drafts where an AI provider adds value.

    3. Review before acting

Check the underlying records, assumptions and proposed next steps. Any production, recipe or quality action follows the applicable permissions and approval workflow.

    Illustrative manufacturing scenario

A yield change raises several possible explanations.

A supervisor asks what changed during a selected production window. Assist can help explain the available evidence and suggest checks, while the team verifies the report context and decides which hypothesis deserves investigation.

Build on the right data and responsibilities.

    • Provider-based Assist requires a configured account, a suitable model, workload assignment and permitted outbound data. Provider services and usage costs are separate considerations.
    • MCP Agent Access requires a current Annual Maintenance Agreement, the supported identity-provider setup and HTTPS. Its tools are read-only and operate within the signed-in user's permissions. External agents use their own AI provider and governance; built-in Assist connections and budgets do not control that provider.
    • AI answers and drafts require review. They do not approve recipes, change inspection verdicts or authorize containment; unavailable or incomplete records limit what can be explained.

    Practical questions

What to know before you start.

Do we need an AI provider to use IntelliTrack™?

No. Core manufacturing workflows and reporting work without an external AI provider. Supported deterministic Insights functions also operate without a provider; Assist adds optional provider-based capabilities.

Which provider and model can we use?

Current provider integrations include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini and xAI. Choose a supported model that fits the workload and your organization's requirements; vision and other capabilities depend on the selected model and configuration.

Is all our manufacturing data automatically sent to a provider?

No. Provider-based workflows use configured routing and outbound-data permissions. Review the context required by each workload. Image sharing requires its own permitted setup and is not enabled by default.

Can an AI answer change production settings?

An answer is advisory. Recipe changes, quality disposition and other controlled actions remain subject to their separate human review, permissions and approval workflows.

Can an external AI client access IntelliTrack™ through MCP?

Yes. MCP Agent Access lets an approved external client read permitted IntelliTrack™ data on behalf of a signed-in person. It requires current Annual Maintenance coverage, the supported identity-provider setup and HTTPS. Every tool is read-only; it cannot change production records. The external client uses its own provider and associated costs.

Will every answer be complete and correct?

No. Review sources, scope and assumptions. Missing records, ambiguous questions and model limitations can affect an answer, so a plausible explanation must be checked before it becomes an operational decision.
