    Automotive & discrete assembly

When a supplier lot is suspect, know which units used it.

A quality investigation is difficult when serial numbers, test results and material consumption are spread across machines and databases. IntelliTrack™ brings those records into one product history.

What the production record can answer

    Where did the material go?

Follow genealogy from a supplier lot through the assemblies and finished units linked to it. Scope the investigation to the data actually captured.

    Was the right process used?

Review recorded operations, recipes, component checks, production attributes and results for each identified product.

    What should be contained?

Use quarantine and disposition to manage affected product. Configure the machine and shipping interfaces to honor the applicable status.

Example: a supplier identifies a suspect lot

    1. IdentifySearch the supplier material lot and its recorded receipts or components.
    2. TraceFollow recorded parent-child relationships to the affected assemblies and finished products.
    3. Review and actInspect tests and station history; apply containment and disposition under your quality process.

Illustrative workflow. Results depend on serial identification, recorded consumption and integration coverage.

Production control, not just traceability after the fact

IntelliTrack™ can check configured routing, recipe, BOM, material and quality conditions at the appropriate production steps. Equipment behavior depends on the PLC/HMI integration and how it handles a rejection or hold.

Production reports can provide WIP, OEE and reject context. The software also supports detailed history when investigations cross shifts or workcells.
