Structured inputs
Collect the values that belong to a transaction, including the product ID, operation, measurements and result. Keep mappings understandable as projects change.
PLC data collection
Saving production data is only part of the job. The control system also needs a reliable answer when the database is slow, unavailable or rejects a request.

A dependable PLC-to-database interface has to do more than read a tag and insert a row.
Collect the values that belong to a transaction, including the product ID, operation, measurements and result. Keep mappings understandable as projects change.
Return outputs and status to the PLC after the configured operation runs. The machine sequence should respond to the result, not assume a trigger means the transaction succeeded.
Inspect collection, database work and PLC write-back separately. That distinction matters when production is waiting for an acknowledgement.
Event Engine® can connect to supported Rockwell and Siemens controllers, Modbus/TCP devices, and OPC UA servers. It supports SQL Server and Oracle database operations, with a Windows host running the service.
For Rockwell Logix applications, supported L5X structure import can reduce repetitive mapping. Siemens S7 support in the documented release uses absolute addressing; symbolic or optimized addressing is not supported.
Event Engine® provides the transaction mechanism and telemetry. Your stored procedures, PLC handshake, network and recovery logic still determine the application's final behavior.
